This year‘s journey will include a backroads drive to Aberdeen, then Westport for lunch. We drive to Cape didappointment, cross the Astoria bridge ito Oregon, and head to the coast at Seaside. We‘ll stay at Lanai on the Cove on the beach and on Sunday, take a scenic route to the Forest Grove Concours. After a second night in Seaside, we‘ll wander the southern side of the Columbia, cross into Washinton. We‘ll visit Hulda Klager Lilac Garden, then the Cedar Creek Grist Mill before lunch and a back road drive home.. Don‘t miss this always stellar event! For room reservations at Lanai on the Cove, call Wayne at 503-738-6343, by June 1.

Drive to Lynden, stay at Cobblestone Inn https://staycobblestone.com/wa/lynden/ and have dinner with the group. On Sunday, drive to Artist point on Mt. Baker. See the NWARC website for more details.

Attend a tech session, taught by Wes Ingram and Steve Speidel, comparing a 1975 Alfa Spider Veloce to a 2015 Alfa 4C and discussing the evolution of Alfa technology. After the class, we‘ll have lunch at the 7 Cedars Casino. Join the drive to Sequim, led by Dan Jardine. Meet at the Westgate Starbuks, 901 Edmonds, at 8:30. We take the Edmonds ferry to Kingston and drive across the Hood Canal Bridge to Sequim. WayMake it a weekend by staying in Sequim, attending Sequim Cars and Coffee before the event, and driving on one of the Rallista app self-guided tours after. The NWARC Driving school at Pacific Raceways is the perfect gift to give yourself or someone you care about. Offering just the right combination of fun, challenge and learning, it offers you the unique opportunity to experience the capabilities of your car in a safe and controlled environmenit. Experienced and new drivers alike will benefit from the coaching and guidance of NWARC club experts in order to build skills in car handling, the proper use of ABS brakes, emergency stopping, collision avoidance techniques and decision making. The objective is to have fun, be safe and learn techniques to better control our vehicles on the road. In-car coaching is provided by expert volunteers. All participants must have a valid driver’s license or valid learner’s permit, and proper driver safety gear. There will be a lapping event in the afternoon. There will be a group for advanced drivers and participating instructors, and a novice group for drivers over 18 who participated in the morning car control clinic.
