The monthly cars and coffee event will be held at the Skagit Regional Airport in June. Come and experience the Skagit Skies Airshow. NWARC members will park on the grass in a reserved car corral near the Chuckanut Brewery. Enjoy the airshow and stay for lunch at the brewery. Admission is free.

Gary and Marie Patitz traditionally host a club BBQ on Saturday of the Pacific Northwest Historics SOVREN race weekend. Join us for good food, beverages and company at their beautiful home, and enjoy their collection of fabulous cars and memorabilia. There will be a club meeting to vote on amendments to the club bylaws.

Join us for the always fun and scenic annual Old Spider tour designed and led by Paul and Kristy Affolter. We‘ll head west on a new route along scenic roads. Spiders will head out first, but all cars are welcome. Check for more details later this spring.

This year‘s journey will include a backroads drive to Aberdeen, then Westport for lunch. We drive to Cape didappointment, cross the Astoria bridge ito Oregon, and head to the coast at Seaside. We‘ll stay at Lanai on the Cove on the beach and on Sunday, take a scenic route to the Forest Grove Concours. After a second night in Seaside, we‘ll wander the southern side of the Columbia, cross into Washinton. We‘ll visit Hulda Klager Lilac Garden, then the Cedar Creek Grist Mill before lunch and a back road drive home.. Don‘t miss this always stellar event! Attend a tech session, taught by Wes Ingram and Steve Speidel, comparing a 1975 Alfa Spider Veloce to a 2015 Alfa 4C and discussing the evolution of Alfa technology. The NWARC Driving school at Pacific Raceways is the perfect gift to give yourself or someone you care about. Offering just the right combination of fun, challenge and learning, it offers you the unique opportunity to experience the capabilities of your car in a safe and controlled environmenit.
Experienced and new drivers alike will benefit from the coaching and guidance of NWARC club experts in order to build skills in car handling, the proper use of ABS brakes, emergency stopping, collision avoidance techniques and decision making. The objective is to have fun, be safe and learn techniques to better control our vehicles on the road.
In-car coaching is provided by expert volunteers. All participants must have a valid driver’s license or valid learner’s permit, and proper driver safety gear.
There will be a lapping event in the afternoon. There will be a group for advanced drivers and participating instructors, and a novice group for drivers over 18 who participated in the morning car control clinic. There is a combo registration for both courses. Register later at msreg.com
