Based on positive comments related to last year’s fall tour to High Point State Park, NJ and Hawk’s Nest, PA, we plan on offering the same route, along with some potential additional scenic routes for this year’s fall tour. The primary travel routes includes State Route 206N, CR 519N, State Route 23 to High Point State Park. From the park, we will travel to Hawk’s Nest via State Route 97N. Lunch to follow at the Outpost restaurant in Pond Eddy, PA. This event is scheduled for Sunday, Oct 18 with a rain date on Sunday, Oct 25.

Trip Highlights:
• Route 519 passes through scenic landscapes such as forested areas, farmland and some residential homes.
• High Point State Park is a gem of natural beauty in the NJ landscape. It is the highest point in the state and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding region.
• Hawk’s Nest is a curvy, Cliffside stretch of road along the Delaware River with breathtaking views.

Meet-Up points for caravan:

• Quick Chek at 1578 Route 206N, Bedminster, NJ. Meet at 9:00, depart at 9:30AM
• Quick Chek at 26 Route 206N, Byram, NJ. Arrive at approximately 10:15, depart at 10:30AM

Please read: Italian vehicles are invited to participate in the parade. Unfortunately, the reserved parking for our club is not available at this year‘s festival. For those wishing to remain after the parade and enjoy the festival, metered parking and private parking lots are available.

AROC club member, Emilio Crincoli, along with his FIAT club, have arranged to include Italian vehicles in the parade. Due to expected rain on Sunday, Oct 11, the parade has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026 and starts at 1:00 PM. All vehicles participating in the parade are asked to arrive by 12:30. There is no fee to participate. If you plan to attend, please register on clubexpress.

We are excited to announce our autumn Driver Skills/Car Control Clinic & HPDE Lapping track event. This is a driving school for enhancing driver skills and teaching car control/safety with an online classroom and driving exercises in the morning, and a separate HPDE /Lapping event for A Group drivers in the afternoon. The curriculum for the Car Control/Driver Skills course is designed for all drivers in any type of vehicle, and is proven to be particularly valuable for new and teen drivers, drivers with newly purchased vehicles, and any driver who feels unsure or nervous behind the wheel. The course is as fun as it is informative, so we welcome and encourage any/all drivers who would like to experience something newto all drivers with a valid Driver License and teens with a Learner Permit. No other driving experience or prerequisites are required. Invite your teenage* children, parents, friends/neighbors or coworkers to experience the art and skill of advanced car control. The afternoon HPDE/School event has two run groups. We will have a group for Advanced drivers (A group drivers only) and participating instructors. We will have a group for Novice drivers over 18 years old who have participated in the morning car control clinic. There is a combo registration for both courses. All drivers for AM and PM events must have a valid WA Drivers License (must show original at check-in) and proper driver safety gear (helmet rental is available). This announcement is also a call for instructors and volunteers to signup to help make this a successful event. Our next Breakfast Gathering will be held on October 25, 2026 from 9AM to 11AM. This date is flexible and may be swapped with our Fall Tour which is currently scheduled for October 18. In the event the Fall Tour is postponed until October 25, due to inclement weather, our breakfast gathering will occur on the 18th. Any changes will be communicated via clubexpress or email. The breakfast gathering will be at the All Seasons Diner, 176 Wyckoff Rd, Eatontown, NJ 07724. Registration deadline is Saturday, October 24, 5PM. Registration is only needed for a head count for restaurant seating and/or, to receive notification of any last minute changes. Joe Potter and his team are planning something special at his Wilson Street "speed shop". Joe will cover brakes, suspension and some of the newest advances in autos, including electric air conditioning and more. Joe is also working on a modified Alfa engine that he‘s excited to give a "sneak peek" to AROO. The drive will take about 90 minutes from the Baldock Rest Area - plan for a 10:30 arrival at VU if you are not going on the tour. Once at the shop, we‘ll be there until about 12:30-1:00. From there we will head to a local food truck court for a variety of foods for lunch.
