BOSTON MOTORSPORTS ALFA ROMEO in Brighton/Boston has again invited our club to a Cars & Coffee event at their location on April 11th (rain date April 12th) starting at 9:30am. Come hang out with your Alfa friends and take a look at what Boston Motorsports has to offer. We’ll be given a tour of their facility, and can check out the various Giulia, Stelvio, and Tonale models they have around. The showroom also usually has a large number of "ultra" cars (e.g., Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren, BMW comp, Porsche, etc.) that we can ogle. Boston Motorsports is an authorized Alfa Romeo sales and service company with many Alfas on site. They can service Alfas prior to the 4C and will try to source parts even if not available from Alfa. There are five experienced technicians on their staff. Since a growing number of club members have modern Alfas, Boston Motorsports provides a central location and proven positive Alfa customer satisfaction. Cars will be provided by Boston Motorsports and us! Coffee will be provided by Boston Motorsports via Espresso Dave’s coffee cart. Boston Motorsports is buying, but we’re encouraged to tip Dave’s staff. Boston Motorsports is located at 1650 Soldier‘s Field Road, Brighton/Boston (see the Map & Directions button above for GPS-able info). Quite easy to get to! If you’re planning to attend, it’s important that you RSVP to Tom by Wednesday, April 8th, so that parking and beverage provisions can be made.

Enjoy some great coffee and food at the Greyhouse Coffee & Supply Co in West Lafayette! Enjoy the company of your fellow Alfisti as we welcome in the Spring! After an especially harsh winter, dust off your Alfa and join us for some fresh coffee and food! Parking is available at the West Lafayette Public Library. (When parking, go up until you find some other Alfas!) As an added bonus, Purdue University will be holding the 69th running of their Grand Prix. This will be at their Karting track located at 1500 McCormick Road, West Lafayette, IN. Sprint races will start at noon, with the main race at 2:35. Opening ceremonies will start at 2:00. There is parking at the track on the grass field and gravel lots near the track. There are 85 registrants vying for 33 slots on the grid for the main race. This could be a great opportunity for us to support engineering students across the country! It‘s a 12-minute drive from our venue. Perhaps we can go as a group for the opening ceremony!
