AROO (Oregon) - AROO Cup Rally #3

AROO's Annual AROO Cup Rally Series starts in mid-March.

The AROO Cup is an annual series of four Time-Speed-Distance rallies, run on paved roads at less than posted speed limits.

Any licensed and insured automobile may participate.

Teams shall be comprised of a licensed driver and a navigator (no single person cars allowed).

Drivers and/or navigators may be minors, however each minor's parent or legal guardian must sign the minor liability release.

Join the AROO Cup Rally Series chairs Yulia Smolyansky and Paul Eklund and day-of-the-event hosts John Johnson and Maria Menor for our 2024 rally season. AROO offers a rally school followed by four short 2-hour local rallies, with increasing complexity through the series run of four rallies.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and learn how to compete in a future Northwest Classic Car Challenge.

AROO RALLY #3 - Sunday May 5th. Register at 9 AM, Drivers Meeting at 9:45 AM, First car out at 10:01 AM at the French Prairie Rest Area, far back Parking Lot, I-5 Southbound at MP 282 (south of Wilsonville). This rally is written by Roger Dilts, former Northwest Classic Car Challenge Rallymaster, and uses the same format and instructions as the NWCCC. A no-host lunch option is offered to the participants and volunteers at Bear Creek Pizza in beautiful Molalla. Since they require preorders for large groups, Roger will be ordering an assortment of pizzas, so he needs to know by Saturday May 4th how many plan on having lunch with the group. (Drinks, salads and sandwiches can be individually ordered at lunch) Cost for the pizza will be around $8 per person - please bring cash!

Future rallies:

AROO RALLY #4 - Sunday June 30th. Register at 9 AM, Drivers Meeting at 9:45 AM, First car out at 10:01 AM at Cook Park in Tualatin. This will be an all-day rally or tour, lunch provided, no-host dinner optional - details forthcoming.

Each rally is $20 per car for AROO members. Each rally is $30 per car for non-AROO members.

Route Instructions, general instructions, waiver forms, and car numbers will be emailed prior to the event, to be printed at your home, and brought to the event along with payment.
