Car Show

Sunday morning will bring a blend of Cars, Coffee and Alfa Car Show. A bit north of Crooked River Lodge along US 31 is The Rusty Saw. It is a bar & grille with full breakfasts and plenty of coffee. One portion is your typical Up North log cabin bar; another room is more sophisticated. They asked us to display our Alfas. No permits, costs. Kristen wants us to just show up, use the property, grab something to drink, munch, or both.

Exactly what we want to do is open. There will be a bottle of “Naughty” red wine for the most bad-ass Alfa, whatever that means. There will also be a bottle of “Nice”, a sicky-sweet white fermented grape juice, acquired from Chateau Chantal. Beyond. That, we plan to let everyone declare Saturday night what we want to do Sunday morning. We can draft a couple of judges from the crowd and create rules as we go. We can let a neighborhood dog sniff and pick. Or we can have the son of a hotel staff member choose his favorite Alfa. First car, a chipmunk scurries and hides under wins? We'll figure it out. The main purpose is to get everyone to gather and enjoy the morning, just as at any neighborhood Cars & Coffee.
