March 29th Concorso #1
We Return to The Pete!
AROSC's first Concorso of 2025 will be held on Saturday, March 29th at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
We will again gather on the third floor of parking garage early in the morning (the gates open at 8 am), have our judging and award ceremony completed by late morning and adjourn to the museum to enjoy the new exhibits (for those not involved in the concorso, the museum opens at 10:00). Staying for lunch at the Meyers Manx Cafe is an option. Concorso classes will be expanded this year to include a Modern Special class, a category that embraces modern Alfas with modifications. Joining this concorso as a spectator, a competitor or both can be accomplished online via ClubExpress (aroc-usa.clubexpress.com click on "AROC Calendar", page down to March 29th and click "Register").
1) If you are not a member of the Petersen Museum, then your $40/person registration fee will include an admission ticket, all-day parking in the Petersen lot, and a contribution toward the cost of renting the upper parking deck for our concorso and gathering. (Note: Purchasing admission & parking directly from the Peterson Museum would be more expensive than the $20 charged here to non Petersen members, due to our club getting a group rate.)
2) If you are a member of the Petersen Museum, thenyour $20/person registration fee will go toward the cost of renting the upper parking deck for our concorso and gathering.
3) If you plan to enter your Alfa(s) in the Concorso you can register your Alfa(s) on this site and select whether you want it judged or "Show Only", pick your class, and enter your Alfa's year, model, and color. There is no additional fee for Concorso entrants. And if you're interested in further Concorso participation, consider volunteering as a Judge-in-Training; please contact Jeff Srinivasan or David O'Donoghue.
